SMC: AGES & STAGES - Communication Across the Generations

Soon, Millennials?the people born between 1977 and 1997?will account for nearly half the employees in the world.? With Boomers and Traditionalists still in the workforce, we have begun preparing for the realities of an aging workforce. And, as Generation 2020 joins these generations, along with Generations X and Y, organizations may soon have an unprecedented five generations in the workplace at once.

The workforce is filled with people of all skill levels, learning styles, and generational perspectives. In order to ensure a dynamic, safe and productive work environment that transcends these differences, strategic knowledge sharing and thoughtful communication become top priorities.
