Safety Break! Incentives, Prizes and Rewards: How to Drive Safety Performance

OTA is participating in Safety Break for Oregon.  In support of this statewide activity, we are offering a FREE safety class. 

Providing safety incentives can be a tricky business-employers want to ensure they are reinforcing the right types of behavior for lasting positive results.

This presentation explores the upsides and downsides of safety incentive programs, explains leading vs. lagging indicators, and includes ideas for the best ways to reward employees. There is also a brief discussion about the payroll exemption for safety incentives available to employers (SAIF customers). You will also learn what other trucking companies are offering.
