DESCRIPTION:OTA is committed to helping Oregon carriers be successful.  \n\nJoin OTA Director of Training & Development\, Adam Williamson\, for Entry Level Driver Training. Topics covered include:\n\n\n	Driver Qualification\n	Hours of Service\n	Driver Wellness\n	Whistleblower Protection Education (in accordance with the driver's current position)\n\n\n**The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires that entry-level drivers receive training on these four specific topics before being allowed to operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs). An entry-level driver is defined as a driver with less than one year of experience operating a CMV with a commercial driver's license (CDL) in interstate commerce. The rules do not apply to those operating solely in intrastate commerce or those operating vehicles that do not require a CDL. A certificate will be issued to participants upon completion of this course.
